CARRIE & JASON - AUG 12

Carrie & Jason were married on August 12th at Stone Ridge. Geez, this is going to be one of the most memorable weddings for me...in more ways than one. I'll keep one of those reasons w/ the people who know what I'm talking about...my heart went out to you all and it still does. First of all, Stone Ridge looked SO AMAZING! The colors were absolutely vibrant! Carrie chose to have the place decked out with hot pink linens & a bright green accent. There were signature drinks served, Carrie and Jason's favs of course and their cake...well, Cakes Be We out did themselves once again. Carrie worked her tail off planning this wedding and wow, I know it was worth it. She looked gorgeous of course, and I loved how all the guys wore black flip flops...very pimp. =)

LINDSEY & MAX - AUG 5

Lindsey & Max were married on August 5th in a very sweet traditional wedding. I love this shot, it's right after the ceremony when they walked out of the sanctuary. They were so happy. =) Max is one of my favorites, he just has an energy that makes you smile and he photographs SO well. He told me his secret...it's pretty easy...but he says he simply laughs when we're taking pictures. Sounds easy enough, but I know it's not. The easy part is probably laughing at me I guess, I'm pretty dorky. Maybe that's the REAL secret. =) Enough about my dorkyness...
Lindsey looked so beautiful as always, and she is such a sweet girl. I had a great time working w/ them and their family & friends. Now they're back in Pullman, GO COUGS!

She turned 1 and I can't believe it...

It doesn't seem like that long ago that I was pregnant, and it seems like yesterday when my daughter was learning to crawl. Now's she's 1 and she's running all over the place, trying to climb on everything...or out of something, throwing tantrums, and eating big girl food. The love of our lives, let me tell ya. My husband and I are so in love w/ our little girl, it's scary. Anyway, a couple days before we left for vacation, and the night before her 1st birthday, I decided to give her a small cracker w/ a bit of peanut butter on it. WRONG. She has a small case of eczema, but she broke out in full on hives in a matter of minutes. So after some time in the ER, allergy testing, and my broken heart, we discovered that she has a couple of food allergies and she's allergic to dust mites. I guess when they turn 1 they CAN'T eat all foods...
Here are a few shots of my sweetie, she's quite the character and I love it!

KATIE & JASON - ENGAGEMENT

I went to Katie's mom's house to shoot the engagement session for Katie & Jason who are getting married next month. They live right on the Columbia River and have the most amazing view. I had a great time shooting there. The day we got together was the weekend last month when it was over 100 and scorching...and we were feeling it! It was about 8pm and still in the 90s. Besides the view and the weather, I had a great time getting to know Katie & Jason. They are a super laid back, fun couple...my favorite!!! =) Katie is so smitten w/ Jason, it's adorable. I'm really excited to be apart of their wedding.

HEATHER & BRIAN - JULY 15

Heather had a great idea when she was planning this wedding, it was fabulous! The wedding was at Stone Ridge and the decor was for a full on garden wedding. She had large baskets w/ tons of green foliage as the center pieces which was such a cool idea. They bought 2 gigantic pots in Mexico this year that were filled w/ tons of nice plants and they were placed at the front of the gazebo were they were married. The guys wore taupe suits w/ brown or orange ties and the girls wore knee length brown dresses and they looked so sharp. Heather looked absolutely breath taking, and Brian looked pretty hot himself...=)
We got to sneak away during the reception to snag some sunset shots and I love this close up.

Back and ready for wedding season

Vacation was nice but not really relaxing w/ a 1 year old, but oh well. It was nice to get away for awhile and see family and play a little bit too. Vacation fell right before my schedule is turned upside down, so we planned it good. I barely have any weekends off for the next 3 months, but that's part of the job and I can't complain because I love what I do. I finally got a new laptop, Apple's MacBook Pro, which I give 2 thumbs up as displayed in this lovely self portrait. It has a program called Photobooth w/ a built in camera which is pretty darn cool.
Anyway, I'm totally excited for the rest of my weddings this year, everyone has been so wonderful and fun to work with.
