I just noticed I've been posting a lot of kissing images...

CARRIE & JASON - ENGAGEMENT

So, I finally found some REAL wheat fields to shoot in and WOW, there is a big difference. I just, um, never really came across any wheat fields when I lived in Seattle and since I've been here I never ventured out to find one. But thankfully, as I'm getting to know more people, I'm learning more about the area and the really cool places to shoot. I had a great time w/ Carrie & Jason. They have a really cool relationship and a great sense of humor, I love it. Carrie shared a lot of the wedding details with me the other night and it is going to be a fabulous wedding with a lot of really cool elements. I'm excited!

JENNY & JOSH - ENGAGEMENT

Like always, I had a lot of fun w/ this couple. We did the shoot her parents' next door neighbor's house...which was, um, immaculate! Is shot doesn't show that off, but there was a classic Mustang that was being worked on in the garage so we decided to take advantage of that opportunity. They decided to change outfits into some semi-formal wear and do some more romantic shots, that was a lot of fun.

LINDSEY & MAX - ENGAGEMENT

This is such a cute couple, Lindsey & Max. They were so giddy w/ eachother & it was like seeing TRUE young love in the purest form. You know how that young love is...=) Everytime they'd look at eachother they'd smile, giggle, kiss or just laugh and it was so fun to capture.

JILL & RICHIE - ENGAGEMENT

Jill & Richie, wow, her smile can light up the sky. I know I didn't show an image of that, but I just like this one of them in the grass. We did the shoot at her parents' house, and it was a really nice setting. Not to mention that her parents are super cool!! AND, so is the couple and I'm really excited to be working with them. =)

Red, red wine

There was nothing very serious going on at this family shoot. It was all fun & smiles. This is the Hedges family and the kids were in town from Cali. for a family wedding. We did do some nice shots of the family, but we also did a lot of goofy stuff to have a good time. You know those guys, we gotta loosen them up a bit...=) Here's just a fun candid after all the work was done, and it ended up being a favorite.

ANGELA & PAT - ENGAGEMENT

When I first met Angela she told me that she didn't like having her picture taken. Understandable, but you have to have pictures from your wedding right? =) When we did her engagement shoot I think she realized that when she's w/ Pat, she doesn't have to worry about it. I can tell he makes her feel like a million bucks. They were very cute together and by the end of the shoot she was showing off her sassy high heels w/ force.

Beautiful

Gosh, this shoot was from quite awhile ago...my blogging has been seriously lacking...

Anyway, this was a maternity/family/child shoot in their home. The house was so amazing to work at, it had a ton of natural light w/ white walls & hard wood...I loved it. This is a candid shot I got of "Izzy" while we were taking a break. It's funny how those are always my favorites. She is such a beautiful girl full of life and energy. She's the same age as my daughter and it made me want to run home to her. =) The other is an image of mom, who's expecting #2 in the next couple of weeks.

DANIELLE & DMITRI - JULY 1

FINALLY! I finished Dmitri and Danielle's wedding images. I have just been slammed...anyways...this was such a great wedding. Like I mentioned before, it was for sure the most intense, emotional wedding that I've ever shot. It was so touching to see a man so in love, it really brought tears to my eyes...frequently. It was held at the home of Dmitri's father and it was a beautiful setting. It could have been a little cooler though, geez, it was like 106 and we were scorching. Those poor guys in their tuxes...I got really burnt as you can see in this picture w/ me and Danielle, the beaming bride. =) BUT, it's all part of the experience.

I'm jealous!

Oh my goodness, this is going to take me forever! So...I'm proofing the wedding of Danielle & Dmitri, which was last weekend, July 1st, and I cant stop staring at them!!!! Some of these images blow me away. They are probably the most affectionate couple that I've been able to work with. Dmitri was so emotional the whole day, I was tearing up ALL the time and it's happening again everytime I work on their wedding. Man, I need to snap out of it...=) Here's one of the recents to share. Check back to see their whole wedding story in a few days!
