TIFFANY & MIKE - ENGAGEMENT

The rain didn't affect my time w/ these two. Tiffany said "rain or shine", and so we did. =) Luckily we had some covered areas to work with at RCC and so we could still work outside...very cool. I'm very excited to be apart of their wedding next year, they are a very relaxed and fun, up for anything couple. Love it! Dont they look cozy here? Too cute...

Kriskovich family

Watch your little girls, these boys are CUTE! This family was SO fun to work with. These boys were so well behaved and still had fun at the same time...a dream come true for a photographer. This shot is so fun - we got some great shots of the fam and then the boys started messing w/ eachother and whala, great moment caught. The little one got some air! =)

Hailey Jane is here

I posted some maternity pics of my friend a while ago and here's a look at her beautiful new baby girl. Both of her girls are just gorgeous. I've been photographing her older daughter Ella since she was a baby as well. Ella and my daughter are buddies. =) Congratulations you guys!

KARMA & TYLER - OCT 28

Words cannot describe how fun this wedding was for me. This was a referral from one of my favorites, sweet Jenny Tiegs. Tyler was a groomsman in Jenny & Keith's wedding this March and that's how I met Karma and Tyler. The friends and family in this circle of friends are so fun and full of life and laughter. I was cracking up half the time and I just love shooting weddings like that. Tyler's groomsman are so hilarious and when they all hang out something crazy is going to be said or done. That's pretty much what the whole day was like. Karma, I know you're wondering what I'm going to write about...so I'll just leave it at that. ;) Karma was a stunning bride, and the details of the wedding were impecable. The TRAC was transformed into such an elegant venue, it was truly amazing and a lot of hard work for a lot of people.

ANGELA & PAT - OCT 21

My goodness, drama-drama-drama. Angela had a huge dilema to overcome a week before her wedding, her dress was ruined at the dry cleaners. I give her so much credit because I think I might have laid down and died if that happened to me. I mean, A WEEK BEFORE THE WEDDING! But she just brushed herself off, got out there and found a dress that night. What a story. I dont know what her other dress looked like, but she looked FABULOUS in her new one! She is such a doll... Her and Pat tied the knot at St. Jo's and partied at the Tri-City Country Club.

SARAH & KEVIN - ENGAGEMENT

Look at these two!!! This was a really fun shoot for me and getting to know Sarah & Kevin as a couple as well. They completely rocked at the shoot and had some pretty funny candid moments. Here it seems as if they were a little bored with me so they decided to start playing w/ grapes to keep themselves entertained. =)

TRILBY & JIM - OCT 8

My goodness...what a couple. I had SUCH a great time w/ Trilby & Jim. I had just done their engagement session 2 days before their wedding so you could say we were all a little warmed up by the wedding. But, I dont think they really needed to be warmed up because they were so fun to photograph. They are so naturally comfortable in the camera, and with eachother and they LOVE to have fun. They were so open w/ me being creative w/ their images and that was great for me as well.

Frankenfield family

This was a flash-back shoot of me trying to photograph my daughter. This adorable little one, Faith, is the same age as my daughter and just as active. It was funny, I have to embarass myself and act like a complete idiot to try and get little ones to pay attention to me. When it's all over, it's good times though...and hopefully the adults still want to talk to me. =)

TRILBY & JIM - ENGAGEMENT

I had SO much fun at this shoot. Trilby & Jim are such a perfect match, and they can't help but let that show in front of the camera. I just got to sit back & shoot away...I love that! They do not have a PDA issue, which helps. =) We actually did this shoot a couple days before their wedding because they aren't living local anymore. We had a lot of fun at the wedding too and I'll be posting some images from that soon.

BRADI & SCOTT - SEPT 24

Bradi & Scott, what can I say...I actually can't say enough. Let's just say I felt very lucky to share their wedding w/ them. Scott LOVES to be in front of the camera, and Bradi is just the cutest thing w/ the biggest smile. I had a TON of fun! I love this...Scott had to come up for some air & loosen up his tie after his first attempt at the garder. He is a crack up!

TAYANA & JASON - SEPT 23

What a great wedding! I was so excited to hear that the bridesmaids were going to be wearing different color dresses, and they looked so fabulous! Besides looking good, these girls were SO close, and I found out later that they were all friends from different stages of the brides' life. I would have NEVER guessed. This was the first time I shot at Elegant Gardens, and was it ever elegant. I love how she had caramel apples for the guests, that was such a great idea, and sweet!...just like Tayana. =)

ALEXIS & DAN - SEPT 16

Well I had a first at this wedding...a groom in a white tux. Seriously, it made me a little bit nervous. That's a lot of white to get right! =) He looked really sharp, and the wedding was at The Promise Garden which is an amazing outdoor location. The grounds are lush. and I really enjoyed shooting there. The bride had the most simple red detail on her dress, but wow, I dont know if it was the red or just how amazingly gorgeous she is, but she looked FABULOUS! This image was the first time they looked at eachother after leaving the alter. She was very emotional, it was sweet. It was a great wedding and I had a great time.

Gracie sweetie

Gracie is so cute & smiley, such reflections of her parents. I did her 6 month pics a little bit ago and she was so fun to work with. I thought these shots were so funny, she wasn't even dressed yet and I was testing the light when she had to sneeze. She was so giggly right after she sneezed...and I like how dad is in the back laughing too.

KATIE & JASON - SEPT 3

Katie & Jason were married on September 3rd, and they had a great party. They are both serious people, but instantly come out of their shell to have a good time. Jason is very in tuned with Katie, and was totally into her and her dress and all the little details about her. It was so sweet. Katie is just giddy with Jason and it's adorable as well. They are going to have a great life together.

Nesting

One of my friends, Kelly, is about to have her second daughter. I did her maternity pictures a few weeks ago and she looked stunning. She's so tiny, she doesn't look 9 months pregnant at all. I was a blimp! =)

Lots of seniors

I've been doing a lot of seniors in the last couple of months. They have all been really cool, laid back and wanted to do a lot of different things. I'm going to put together a collage of this class when things slow down.

Good livin' outside the city

I love shooting in Seattle, who wouldn't. I was there a few weeks ago for 2 days and had 3 shoots and I wish I had more. This family had the most amazing home with land I could only dream to own. I mean the dad & their neighbor picked up the boys from the bus stop on a 4 wheeler and dirt bike. That's so unbelievably cool to me, I'd LOVE to live that way. Anyway...we all had a great time. The family is so darn good looking and Grandma was there to have some fun too.

SYDNEY & JEFF - ENGAGEMENT

The two of them met while going to UW so we started off on campus which of course is unbelievable. Between parking tickets, of course, some great Thai at the Tiger Room, & Gas Works park for the sunset, I had a great time. They were such a fun couple to get to know and I'm so excited to be photographing their wedding.

more from Seattle...

I did a family shoot for Jeff's sister while I was in town to do their engagement session. I love how the kids are decked out in Coug gear. They were a fun group, I'm so lucky.

Cutie

Meet cute little Connor. This is actually a toned down shot of him, he was a complete ham for me. At 6 months old he's already showing signs of being a ladies man...he looks like he's about to say, "How you doin'".

MICHELE & DWIGHT - SEPT 2

I was really excited to shoot this wedding, September 2nd. Michele & Dwight are so fun to be around and have great, fun personalities. They had a lot of fun people around them on their wedding day and I think Michele was on cloud 9 the whole day. She was SO excited to be marrying Dwight and she radiated happiness the day. This shot is of them being announced at the reception. OH! And they had "The Coffee Guy" there serving espresso & italian sodas. SO COOL! OH, I had to go pull another image. They surprised Dwight's son & daughter with rings to unify them all as one, as a family. It was so moving to watch & capture that moment.

Boothe Family

OK, so I did this shoot way over a month ago...that's how awful of a blogger I've been. =) This was such a cute family and a lot of fun to work with. These girls are so beautiful and we so cute to watch. I always think of what my daughter is going to look and act like at the age of the kids I'm working with. I love this shot, mom was pulling out the Fruit Snacks for some bigger smiles from the girls. We're all guilty, you know who you are...=)

AMY & BEVON - AUG 26

Amy & Bevon were married on August 26th. This was a wedding I had been anxiously waiting for, I knew it would be memorable...to say the least. Amy is one of the most vibrant & energetic people I've worked with. Bevon and his buddies were VERY comfortable in front of the camera. You'll have to view their images to see what I mean. Amy looked absolutely beautiful, even when she was making weird faces at me...which was a lot of the time. =) It was the first time I gave in to hittin' the dance floor at a wedding I was shooting...

I am sooooo busy right now..

I have been such a lazy blogger, I haven't posted this whole month. I have been so busy, crazy busy in a good way, but I barely have a free minute for anything other than work or my daughter. My poor husband. =) I have a ton of work to share and I'll be launching my new website soon. I'm so excited!!!!

CARRIE & JASON - AUG 12

Carrie & Jason were married on August 12th at Stone Ridge. Geez, this is going to be one of the most memorable weddings for me...in more ways than one. I'll keep one of those reasons w/ the people who know what I'm talking about...my heart went out to you all and it still does. First of all, Stone Ridge looked SO AMAZING! The colors were absolutely vibrant! Carrie chose to have the place decked out with hot pink linens & a bright green accent. There were signature drinks served, Carrie and Jason's favs of course and their cake...well, Cakes Be We out did themselves once again. Carrie worked her tail off planning this wedding and wow, I know it was worth it. She looked gorgeous of course, and I loved how all the guys wore black flip flops...very pimp. =)

LINDSEY & MAX - AUG 5

Lindsey & Max were married on August 5th in a very sweet traditional wedding. I love this shot, it's right after the ceremony when they walked out of the sanctuary. They were so happy. =) Max is one of my favorites, he just has an energy that makes you smile and he photographs SO well. He told me his secret...it's pretty easy...but he says he simply laughs when we're taking pictures. Sounds easy enough, but I know it's not. The easy part is probably laughing at me I guess, I'm pretty dorky. Maybe that's the REAL secret. =) Enough about my dorkyness...
Lindsey looked so beautiful as always, and she is such a sweet girl. I had a great time working w/ them and their family & friends. Now they're back in Pullman, GO COUGS!

She turned 1 and I can't believe it...

It doesn't seem like that long ago that I was pregnant, and it seems like yesterday when my daughter was learning to crawl. Now's she's 1 and she's running all over the place, trying to climb on everything...or out of something, throwing tantrums, and eating big girl food. The love of our lives, let me tell ya. My husband and I are so in love w/ our little girl, it's scary. Anyway, a couple days before we left for vacation, and the night before her 1st birthday, I decided to give her a small cracker w/ a bit of peanut butter on it. WRONG. She has a small case of eczema, but she broke out in full on hives in a matter of minutes. So after some time in the ER, allergy testing, and my broken heart, we discovered that she has a couple of food allergies and she's allergic to dust mites. I guess when they turn 1 they CAN'T eat all foods...
Here are a few shots of my sweetie, she's quite the character and I love it!

KATIE & JASON - ENGAGEMENT

I went to Katie's mom's house to shoot the engagement session for Katie & Jason who are getting married next month. They live right on the Columbia River and have the most amazing view. I had a great time shooting there. The day we got together was the weekend last month when it was over 100 and scorching...and we were feeling it! It was about 8pm and still in the 90s. Besides the view and the weather, I had a great time getting to know Katie & Jason. They are a super laid back, fun couple...my favorite!!! =) Katie is so smitten w/ Jason, it's adorable. I'm really excited to be apart of their wedding.

HEATHER & BRIAN - JULY 15

Heather had a great idea when she was planning this wedding, it was fabulous! The wedding was at Stone Ridge and the decor was for a full on garden wedding. She had large baskets w/ tons of green foliage as the center pieces which was such a cool idea. They bought 2 gigantic pots in Mexico this year that were filled w/ tons of nice plants and they were placed at the front of the gazebo were they were married. The guys wore taupe suits w/ brown or orange ties and the girls wore knee length brown dresses and they looked so sharp. Heather looked absolutely breath taking, and Brian looked pretty hot himself...=)
We got to sneak away during the reception to snag some sunset shots and I love this close up.

Back and ready for wedding season

Vacation was nice but not really relaxing w/ a 1 year old, but oh well. It was nice to get away for awhile and see family and play a little bit too. Vacation fell right before my schedule is turned upside down, so we planned it good. I barely have any weekends off for the next 3 months, but that's part of the job and I can't complain because I love what I do. I finally got a new laptop, Apple's MacBook Pro, which I give 2 thumbs up as displayed in this lovely self portrait. It has a program called Photobooth w/ a built in camera which is pretty darn cool.
Anyway, I'm totally excited for the rest of my weddings this year, everyone has been so wonderful and fun to work with.

VACATION!!!!

I am leaving for vacation on Friday, July 28th and will be back in town on Wednesday, August 9th. I'll have my laptop and phone w/ me but who knows what reception will be like...
We'll be enjoying some R&R in the mountains in Colorado and then back to WA for some fun in Chelan. Take care!

Tuesday, July 25, 2006

I just noticed I've been posting a lot of kissing images...

CARRIE & JASON - ENGAGEMENT

So, I finally found some REAL wheat fields to shoot in and WOW, there is a big difference. I just, um, never really came across any wheat fields when I lived in Seattle and since I've been here I never ventured out to find one. But thankfully, as I'm getting to know more people, I'm learning more about the area and the really cool places to shoot. I had a great time w/ Carrie & Jason. They have a really cool relationship and a great sense of humor, I love it. Carrie shared a lot of the wedding details with me the other night and it is going to be a fabulous wedding with a lot of really cool elements. I'm excited!

JENNY & JOSH - ENGAGEMENT

Like always, I had a lot of fun w/ this couple. We did the shoot her parents' next door neighbor's house...which was, um, immaculate! Is shot doesn't show that off, but there was a classic Mustang that was being worked on in the garage so we decided to take advantage of that opportunity. They decided to change outfits into some semi-formal wear and do some more romantic shots, that was a lot of fun.

LINDSEY & MAX - ENGAGEMENT

This is such a cute couple, Lindsey & Max. They were so giddy w/ eachother & it was like seeing TRUE young love in the purest form. You know how that young love is...=) Everytime they'd look at eachother they'd smile, giggle, kiss or just laugh and it was so fun to capture.
